Now This Is The Type Of Shit That Really Pisses Me Off

Disclaimer/Update/Whatever: When I wrote this blog I was unfamiliar with “Associated Content” and was still under the impression that Yahoo writers were actual journalists.

I’ve had a real problem with Yahoo and their writers for a long time. Now I’m no wordsmith, but I don’t get paid to do this. This is a personal blog and I don’t claim to be a professional writer and I don’t write for an actual online publication.

The writers over at Yahoo consistently make SERIOUS spelling and grammatical errors (and if I’m noticing them then you know they are bad because as some of you have witnessed – it is a sad sight when I forget to click the spell check button), and often times they write shit that is downright not true or simply beyond ridiculous. I use Yahoo mail so I often get sucked in by their attention grabbing headlines – even though I try not to read them because it only makes me angry when I do.

So tonight I couldn’t sleep, so I’m wandering around the internet looking for random Housewife stuff and stumbled across this recap that really pissed me off. Read it and you will understand why. (Don’t miss the part where he claims that viewers were stunned as they watched Kyle rip into Camille like a dog for no apparent reason. WTF???)

This guy clearly didn’t watch the show, or simply doesn’t posses the brain power to comprehend what he see’s on the television. Either way, shit like this really annoys me.

UPDATE: Here is the blog Jenn posted today.
I’m pretty sure it’s a response to this blog here and a general “fuck you” to Lynn (poor Lynn, she always get’s dragged into the drama, doesn’t she?) You can read it and decide for yourself.
Just to be clear, my comments up top were in no way meant to insult anyone except the guy who wrote the BS recap and the bad writers who get published on Yahoo. It appears as though Jenn took what I said personal because in addition to her blog, she also blocked me on twitter when I asked her about it.
Here are a few things I don’t understand:
– Why would Jenn take this personal when she clearly knows how to spell and knows I enjoy her Teen Mom recaps?
– How was I supposed to know that Jenn writes for Yahoo when her blog is on Chicago Now?
– Why would Jenn be defending associated content writers? Despite what some of you have been saying, I don’t think she’s a bad writer. So clearly she should be able to see how awful MANY articles on Yahoo are. So if she also writes for Yahoo, I think she should be even more upset than me about all the bad writers out there giving Yahoo content a bad name.
And last but not least
– I don’t understand all the digs at Lynn in Jenn’s blog. Why is she dragging Lynn into this for no reason? If you have a problem with me or Lynn or whoever, why not just say it? Why all the underhanded digs? That’s LuAnn’s style and shit like that really annoys me. There is one thing I can’t stand in life – and that’s fakeness. If you have something to say: say it.
I find this whole situation to be rather ridiculous, but I thought I would just lay it all out here so you all know what’s going on. If Jenn ever decides to stop ignoring me and explain where all her anger is coming from, I’d be happy to hear it. My comments are always open to everyone (even trolls) and I don’t block anyone on twitter. So if she ever decides to speak to me face to face (or avatar to avatar – wtv) she knows where to find me.

  1. Need a Hobby says:

You can read up on the venue and see why it seems that just about any bozo can blog for them….it’s because just about any bozo can. It’s not like writing professionally for a real publication.

There are drawbacks. As I understand, you sign away control over how your content can be used and distributed when you hook up with them. And you’re subject to their guidelines. Blah, blah, etc. And I’d bet that the average run of the mill blogger there probably is lucky if they make enough on a piece to buy a couple lattes.

But if you want to impress the shit out of the twitterverse with accounts of your latest “assignments” as a “professional writer” for yahoo (I’m taking a dig at someone else, not you) that might be one way to go.

    • icantstandthetoxicity says:

Need a Hobby, I know who you are talking about. 🙂 Some of these “professional writers” are very insecure because they can’t stop writing or tweeting about “free bloggers”. They are obsessed! Some paid/professional writers are under the impression that they are better than the “free bloggers” because they get paid to blog. I would rather read blogs by Real City Housewife, Lynn Hudson and Real Old Housewife. I think their blogs are better than the blogs that are written by the “professional writers”.

  2. Periwinkle says:

This piece was written by a man…….Kelsey’s wife’s target audience.

    • Sardonica says:

Agreed. Didn’t I read somewhere Howard Stern is talking about Camille a lot since she is friends with Stern’s present wife? The story is most likely written by an unemployed hack writer wannabe that also calls TV shows and yells, “baba booey” over the phone. Good observations fellow addicts. Now off for a hit of twitter before church. Now this is just allllllll wrong on my part… tsk tsk

  3. ilovelynn says:

thanks for the lick, rch. unbeliveable! I don’t think a man wrote this as periwinkle thought, I think CAMILLE wrote it!

    • Sardonica says:

Oh come on. She is way too busy to write and it requires work and what do you expect from the poor woman? She has so many problems, ya know? She delegated it to the resident blog poster. I hear she employs 8 full time people. Well, I made that part up

  4. LynnNChicago says:

Anyone can write for Yahoo, Chicago Now or any of those web sites, all you have to do is send in one sample of writing, (and who knows it if is actually that person’s writing) and they will bring you on to write for them and pay you for the clicks. You just made this person rich! LOL They don’t hire serious writers, its a joke!

    • Sardonica says:

Now I have no pre-church Twitter time, Lynn, you helper to satan ;). At least my clicking may negate my snark comment about the hack thereby making it a possibility I will not get struck by lightning when I sit in the pew this week?… or not. Just wondering. hmmm could check Twitter during service but that would be wrong, wouldn’t it?

      • LynnNChicago says:

Its all worth it in the end, God blesses good people in the end, that’s all that matters! 🙂

        • karrylin says:

You are a major blessing to many of us!!! So, that being said….how do clicks help you? or do they?
when I’m finished with RealCity tonite, Off to visit you and the Fam….
          click click click…..
PS…the Professional writer…always writes about other bloggers and I would think that her fans……ehem…would get sick of only reading about the other bloggers she is so pissed at all the time…for what, I’m not quite sure…she keeps screaming she is a pro, but so what? We go where we like to be…or where we are entertained…not where some bitch screams at others all the time…like a kid on the playground who doesnt have any friends…cuz she thinks she is better than anyone cuz her mama said she was better than them….cuz of her allowance being bigger than the other kids…that stuff never bodes well for stuck up little kids…no friends, no joy, only delusions of grandeur….
“oh yes…I am a professional writer!”
          ahem…show me a book…not an internet byline!
sorry, but I’m still trying to figure out why this crabby person is so negative, and why does she care?
I say…..Let the Bravo be with you and Blog on, Sista’s!”

  5. MickeyMouth says:

Who stole my trade-marked “nutty little fruitcake” line, lol.

  6. Oh I guess I didn’t really know how it works. I don’t know why I was under the impression that a company as big and well known as Yahoo would hire actual professional writers who know what they’re talking about.
But paid or not, this recap is insane. The only thing that makes me more frustrated than people like Kelsey’s wife, or Kelly, or Teresa, are the people who can’t see anything wrong with them.
Maybe it shouldn’t bother me, but it does. I just wanna shake the shit outta this guy. Lol.
Like, you wanna have a different opinion? Cool. But don’t make shit up.

And Sardonica – what is this crazy talk coming from you? Church? Don’t tell me you are trying to get clean and straighten your life out or something? Just read one more comment, just check twitter one more time… just once more. Who’s it gonna hurt? You know you want to….

    • Sardonica says:

Oh okay, RCH. I trust you have my best interests at heart. One more time can’t hurt, can it? Just this once. Never again. I can control this addiction. One more blog posting… 3 minutes on Twitter.

  7. Tuzentswurth says:

That IS one poorly written, inaccurate blog. It IS as if the writer didn’t even pay attention to the show. The writing flows like 6th grade prose. Nothing more than a page filler, and not even a good one.

    • bacasam says:

What the? “..Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ isn’t real in my mind.” Really after reading his entire blog, want to seriously have him see a professional. Hello, it’s a SHOW!!
Also blew up over “The ANGST is probably due to the fact” blah, blah, blah. Really, really? What a boob from another universe of dolts.
But thanks for the link, as it makes me appreciate the quality of RCH, Lynn of Chicago, and The Old Broad Chronicles blogs now, definitely will no longer take you guys for granted.

  8. Squirrels says:

Admittedly, I don’t read all the Yahoo blogs. That said, I’m not sure it’s fair to paint all bloggers with such a broad brush. To me, it’s like shouting, “Hey that asian woman cut me off on the highway. They must all be lousy drivers.”

(ps. If you were cut off by an asian woman, I swear it wasn’t me!)

    • I’m not saying all Yahoo writers suck. Not at all. I’m just saying that Yahoo seems to have zero standards for their writers. And I think when you are dealing with a brand as well know as Yahoo, the readers should be able to expect that what they read on the site is at the very least honest and accurate. I just read a whole thing about associated content on Jenn Sales blog ( http://jennifergsale.wordpress.com/2010/11/14/the-stupid-is-alive-and-well-it-seems/ ) I’m not sure if she wrote this in response to my post here or if it was just a coincidence that she posted this today (I asked, she hasn’t answered me yet) but she explained in detail the way Yahoo and associated content works, and now I understand. But I didn’t know that. I don’t think the average person reading Yahoo knows that. Maybe I’m wrong, but I would think that the average person would expect that what they read on a well known site like Yahoo is accurate and written by professionals and not any random person who decides to sign up. I think that Yahoo should have higher standards for what is posted on their site. And that’s all I was really saying here.
And btw since Jenn doesn’t have comments open on her blog – I just want to make it clear in case anyone misunderstood what I wrote – this was not an attack against all paid bloggers or all writers for associated content or whatever it’s called. This post was aimed specifically at the moron who wrote that article and I would have been equally as annoyed by him no matter what site he had posted this recap on. But this article just happened to be one of many Yahoo article I have read this that made me go wtf?? And so I decided to write about my general frustration with Yahoo while ranting about this guy. This post was not really meant as an attack on anyone expect the guy with the inaccurate recaps.

      • Squirrels says:

I understood you post to be about that one male blogger and hoped you were not making a general determination regarding all writers. Thanks for clearing that up.

As to folk writing in order to move up the ladder? I actually think it’s a great idea. If anyone has ever tried to get writing gigs (newspaper/magazine) you know competition in the freelance market is fierce. At least this way writers get a shot. If their work stinks, they’ll be called out on it via the comments section and I suspect the editors don’t look only at the click numbers, but actually have staffers read those comments. Therefore, I don’t think that guy is going to get very far.

      • LilyLynn says:

Well I got your point about this guy apparently getting paid to blog wrong facts about an episode of RH. And he did it under Yahoo’s name. So there you go. I do wonder if Jenn was taking a swipe at Lynn with that “hang it from your keychain” comment. I had never heard of Jenn or her blog before today. She needs to lighten up… talk about insecure and I guess you’re not just talking about Kelsey’s wife 🙂

        • That comment was def directed at Lynn. I had to read the blog twice because I get along with her on twitter and thought that the whole thing must have been a coincidence. But when I asked her on twitter she blocked me. Then I got a whole bunch of tweets saying how crazy she is. I had no idea. I never get involved in online drama and I was just blissfully blogging and tweeting thinking everyone liked me. I still don’t understand what the drama is all about. And I really don’t like that her blog is kinda taking digs but without really saying anything specific. If you have something to say – say it. I don’t understand why she didn’t just leave a comment or tweet me if she was offended. Why all the backwards underhanded digs? I don’t like that. Just be real.

          • Kat says:

Apparently she is a poor communicator.
            Ahem.

          • Need a Hobby says:

            It’s her MO.

          • Tuzentswurth says:

I’m with you RCH, I don’t like getting involved in online drama either. We have real lives to live too and they have enough stress in them w/o looking for problems in cyberspace. I don’t know about this Jenn thing and didn’t read that blog, don’t know who she is even, but lawd almighty, I don’t have time to play politics, check out everybody or worry if I might piss someone off b/c they tweet to me. Why can’t people just be real and reasonable, as you said, got a problem….discuss it. whew

      • karrylin says:

yeah, how come no open comments? Ya blog, Ya comment, right?
Pro Style….walk the walk….keep the comments open.
        well…J.S. is always fighting…someone.

        • I don’t understand how someone can have a blog with no comments. The discussion is the best part!
I guess she just wants people to read what she has to say and then not be allowed to voice an opinion about it. I guess that’s a good strategy when no one likes the shit you say.

  9. Maria says:

Looking at his profile, it’s clear he’s a career AC contributor (over 800K pageviews! must be making okay money now) and he probably grabbed this assignment not knowing anything about the show or the backstory. Is that wrong? Maybe. Content farms like AC have drawbacks and benefits. It’s a way to write, make money, get clips while print is imploding.

    • Squirrels says:

I suspect any venue has both and up and down sides. Print has a retraction page. Don’t know if cyberspace does. Thanks for the info on his profile. With so many savvy HW fans, I guess he should walk away and continue to write what is familiar to him.

    • I think it’s wrong for sure. If you’re not going to do something right, then you shouldn’t do it at all. (not you-you, but you know what I mean) I think people who read my stuff know that nothing annoys me more then fakeness. Be real. It’s not so hard. If you didn’t watch the show – don’t write a recap. Simple.
I’m sure there are many talented writers on Yahoo. But it’s people like this guy and the other ones that don’t even know how to use a spell check who give everyone else (and Yahoo in general) a bad name.

  10. housewifeaddict says:

    Writing aside – it’s just a recap that’s wrong.

“Meanwhile, Taylor Armstrong gets a visit from Kyle Richards. They’re going shopping, because apparently there’s nothing else for Beverly Hills housewives to do. They go from boutique to boutique. The twist is they’re not even shopping in Beverly Hills but New York. Who travels to NYC just to shop?”

Yes blogger – who does? Not these 2. They were shopping for the TRIP to NYC. It just goes on and on.

If you’re going to recap a show, at least stay awake and watch it!!!

  11. I’ve worked on paid content for search-engine optimization. The lowest-paying but easiest way to do it that I know of is through Amazon’s Mechanical Turk program.
You write a paragraph for about 7 cents. They give you a search-string and some keywords that they have purchased from Google.
Then they instruct you to use the exact string of words, even if it does not make sense, and to use the certain key words an exact number of times.
Then they try to optimize it for Google© and search-engines.
Yahoo and AC probably have a higher quality standard, but getting eyeballs to a site is the goal.
Too bad all sites are not like Crag’s list where you could send a spam-alert.
Google© has a thing where you can manually vote a site or article down, but I don’t know if enough people use it to make a dif.

  12. By the way-apparently I got caught in the troll-trap on Lynn’s site and I am unable to post there anymore.

    • Tuzentswurth says:

Wow I got innocently caught in a twitter shitstorm too. You can see my dilemma on the Nov 13 post on IHJZ. I didn’t know what it was all about even, but I got trashed a bit harshly I think. Oh well, I come here for escapism and fun, no censorship or control issues here unless you get ignorant and personal, then you deserve it…not you, you,…just in general. Gees it is hard to see what meaning someone can take when the intention is different than what they are thinking. Love RCH and all the posters. Thanks for the fun and understanding!

    • What do you mean? You can’t post on Lynn’s?

      • Well- I can post on WordPress, (like this!), but if I try to post something on Lynn’s comments, it just disappears.
I have a very slow machine so I tried clearing the cache and using different browsers etc.
I know that she had almost a thousand comments yesterday so that could be one thing but even today I post something and it is not there.
I was getting a message about a duplicate comment, but I can not see my comments. Maybe they are there but I just cannot see them.
I’m going to try again when she has a new blog, before a lot of comments show up.
It could have something to do with the, “T”, not Teresa, rhymes with bowl-situation. I am sick of that too and somehow I got pulled into all of it and accused & called names etc.
I don’t know what kind of security Word Press allows, but if it is possible to auto-ban anything with that, “T”-word, I don’t have a problem with that.
Since I was accused, I am assuming that that is why I am unable to post there, but it could be regular glitchs.
I went on last night under an assumed name & asked for Lynn’s email addy & all heck broke loose on me.
I tried to be considerate of how paranoid everyone has been lately about the you-know-what, and also that it was Saturday night & people could be drinking.
I thought that it was pretty funny that I was accused of saying, “I know something you don’t know”, by asking for Lynn’s email when there have been so many incomprehensible, inside-jokes posted there lately and all I was asking was for Lynn’s email.
Then they interrogated me and when I answered, they accused me of TMI!
They also said that Lynn’s email is at the top of the blog & it is not. There is a Paypal addy there.
-Just a bunch of ridiculous nonsense, but when I looked-over the past few days post & counted the number of times that the, “T”-word was mentioned, and how many people were being accused of it, I could plainly see that the so-called “T”-fighters were giving it an awful lot of attention.
(Hmmm. isn’t that what “T”s want? Attention & disruption).
I also noticed that , “lessons” about “T”s have been posted there but they left-out a few things.
One thing that they left out is a very nasty trick of posting private personal info., (or what appears to be), to elicit sympathy, and most importantly, other people’s personal info.
The purpose there being to brag about their skillz at getting people to post personal info., or worse yet to use that information in evil ways.
And the other thing that they left-out is the famous saying, “Don’t feed…”, personally when I look at Lynn’s board lately, mostly everything that I see with that word in it is spam as far as I am concerned.
Especially if it is disruptive or accusing people.

And yeah-the funny thing is that I needed Lynn’s email to give her an ISP and info. to check & see if that is where her some of her trouble was coming from.
I sent it to her twice & it bounced-back both times.
I did not feel comfortable using a fake screen name so I said that my name was, notmyrealname, unlike other people who change their names and expect everyone to know that when you have a thousand comments to read.
Yeah I admit my request was a tiny bit mysterious, but I had no intention of causing trouble & I have seen email addy requests posted many times where people are not attacked.
I’ve even seen people post stuff like, “I want to send Lynn some info. to check-out before I post it here.”-type stuff, without it turning into a witch-hunt.
During all of this, I was called a “maggot”(!) for asking the question & then attempting to answer the interrogatories. At that point, I was personally offended & decided to throw that back at the person who said it, with, “I know you are but what am I?”, since they said it, and I thought they could just own that themselves.
Since I’m writing a book here, I may as well post the whole story-
I received an offer to co-host a radio thing having to do with the Housewives with another website.
I do not suspect these people at all! But-
Since there had been the idea that who ever was causing the trouble for Lynn, that they were going-after her podcast, that it could have something to do with someone who may be doing a radio or podcast thing, I wanted to let Lynn know.
That way, she would have the info. and could check behind-the-scenes, in her server-logs etc. and verify that these people were not involved if she wanted to.
These are the last people that I would suspect for going-after anyone online, but when I got the offer, being paranoid about how Lynn’s blog has been attacked lately, I have to say that I did say to myself, “Hmmmm?” And probably anyone who did a radio show or podcast right now about the Housewives would be suspect, just like fans of JZ are suspect at this point.
Seriously I have been waiting for another podcast to pop-up. I think that someone actually predicted it as the cause of the trouble.
So I wanted to let Lynn know, so that if she wanted to investigate, there would not be any question about this other site.
I actually think that they could have posted some, “innocent” stuff at IHJZ, but they were shot-down and accused, just because they were not known to everyone-but I’m not sure about that either.
Obviously, since I really believe that these people are not the saboteurs, and I have a good relationship with them, I didn’t want to post out in the open, and I was hoping that if anything did develop, that there would be no question about it.
Thanks RCH! I feel better getting that off my chest.
        -The End-

        • Kat says:

I posted 2 addresses to you last night for Lynn.

          • Thank-you Kat! Yes you did. Unfortunately I left something out is what I think the trouble was. I still don’t know if that was why the emails came back because I sent them to aol & gmail, but without the one thing.
The whole thing was goofy & the more I tried to ‘splain that I wasn’t the you-know-what, the more nasty people were. (except you Kat and I did notice that thank-you).
I’m going to try & re-boot & re-send etc. and maybe the full moon has something to do with it also.

            • Kat says:

The mail you tried was missing the A in Lynn’s addy. lynnahudson

NeedAHobby caught it and posted a link too.

              I was wiped out.

    • LynnNChicago says:

You are not blocked Housewifehater, you are free to post and I answered your post as well.

      • OK-so it must be a combo of my machine is slow/ and so many comments on the weekend?
I’ll try during the week, my old computer cannot handle it when it gets really busy on the weekend.

  13. Need a Hobby says:

RCH: sorry, yes, you wandered into Kelly land. Entirely innocently and inadvertently.

Email me if you wish for MHO, FWIW, of the backstory & how you unknowingly hit a tripwire. Or not. Either way, it’s OK. 🙂

    • Tuzentswurth says:

WTH?? When did all this T-stuff go on? I’ve been busy with serious family illness and missed a lot of Lynn blogs due to the time constraints. I’m completely out of the loop on this stuff…….poor, dumb Tuz, wandered in like an Okie.
Nothing going on here I hope?

  14. TEB says:

Good blog! Don’t let the fallout from it get you down! You are great! 🙂

    • I’m not. Just disappointed. A lot of twitterers are under the impression that the ill will stems from jealousy, so I guess I should be flattered. Idk…

      • TEB says:

I don’t twitter much, but it did seem kinda crazy on there. Bottom line is that its not your issue (its someone elses issue). Here’s an OT question: Why does Squirrels posts get the only thumbs down on here? I remember her fun posts from a while ago on Lynn’s site. Why doesn’t she post there anymore?

        • Tuzentswurth says:

B/c she feels the love here? Seriously, people don’t jump your shit here. It never happened to me on Lynn’s blog, I liked her blogs and most posters are entertaining but I’ve seen a few nasty exchanges between posters that went on forever…….really? Is that why we’re here? You can’t make anybody think the way you want them too, just respect other opinions.

      • karrylin says:

You are always smart and intelligent or funny…on Twitter.
I look forward to your tweets!

  15. housewifeaddict says:

Well I’m excited for RH Atlanta tonight. Almost forgot about those ladies, with all the fuss over Kelsey’s ex-wife. Here’s the preview teasers

    http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2010/11/real-housewives-of-atlanta-preview-cha-cha-cheap.html

We thought there could be nothing more “boughetto” than a local fundraiser playing off “Dancing with the Stars,” but “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” have outdone themselves again.

The above preview clip just may be the most uh-mazing one Bravo has ever created. Not only do we get to see Sheree Whitfield in her dancing costume, but also there are so many other treats.

Hello booty, hello Kroy: Is this the first time Kim Zolciak has laid eyes on the bodacious booty of current boyfriend, Atlanta Falcons NFL’er Kroy Biermann? It seems she fell in love at first sight with his behind than him.

The darker the berry: NeNe Leakes give us her thoughts on Cynthia Bailey’s man and gives her husband, Greg, a little jab while she’s at it.

Sour Kandi: We get to see the first time Kim and Kandi Burruss have it out since Kim told her she didn’t like her song. It doesn’t look like Kandi is taking it very well. Or maybe she’s just really hungry… Kandi is attacking that plate like it’s the last piece of meat in Atlanta!

Cheap for charity: We can understand Sheree’s disappointment that her fellow housewives are only donating $20 each to the fundraiser she’s dancing for. Hello, that doesn’t even cover the cost of the table! Decidedly wrong and everyone but NeNe knows it. So, why did the other gals go along with it? It’s for charity, after all.

    • housewifeaddict says:

Oh thanks for the update. I almost feel guilty for loving your blogs so much – but I don’t.

I’m here because your blogs make me laugh – and I also love that other people who like to watch these shows can get together and laugh about how crazy the folks that do these shows are.

I’m sorry Jenn thinks all of us that read your (and Lynn’s) blog are the scum of the earth – but that’s the great thing about this world – we can all agree to disagree. I actually think her housewives articles are pretty funny as well.

Thinking your blog is funny does not make me evil or malicious, just someone who enjoys the housewives franchise – and isn’t that why Bravo has it on air – for us to watch and react to it????

      • LilyLynn says:

Well put HWAddict – this is how I feel too. Thank you to RCH for this blog and all the laughs. BTW Jenn needs to brush up on her Zen. 😉

  16. OK-I’m going to go get a cup and read the rest of JS’S blog. Just reading the first part–it is definitely an attack on Lynn because JS mentions “charities”, and from the way that I understand it, that is what started the whole JS vs. Lynn thing.
When Lynn posted the Project Ladybug document on her site, JS was offended because there is a mommy-blogger on Chicago Now! who’s sick toddler has been named, “Chicago’s Ladybug”.
JS also claims that Project Ladybug has helped someone that she knows personally in Chicago, but as far as I know, she has not posted any details about finance.
If Project Ladybug has helped anyone financially or used it’s funds to help people in Chicago, why would anyone want to keep that info. a secret?
Not like Kim G. of course, who has been accused of forcing the recipients of her charitable gesture to pose for photos that could embarrass them.
Just financial facts, like, “this amount of money helped family(s) in Chi-town”.
Especially since there was a $10,000 very public donation made to kick-off the Chicago branch of Project Ladybug from the way that I recall it.
RCH–Jenn may not accept comments on her, “YO”-blog, but the last time that I checked she did have comments available on Chicago Now!
I am surprised at the amount of spewing that she’s doing. I’ve been waiting her for to either post the facts & financial proof that Project Ladybug is not a sham, or admit that they are, but instead she chooses to go-after people?

The real problem? My BFF looked up the other day (you can too) just how many people read the “award-winning” J. S. It’s about 20. “Envy eats nothing but its own heart”

  18. Lovin' this blog! says:

    AND (since I guess professional writers start their sentences with “and”) while we are at it, can a professional English teacher look at this paragraph? There is a great deal wrong here;

And that goes for any dream. My dearest friend Lisa is an artist, and she left her career to be an artist full time, and it was a rough go at first, but now she is making her dream come true with only hard work and dedication. She promotes herself and her projects 24/7.

    • Tracy (w/out an 'E') aka mscarp says:

AND she doesn’t even know the difference between their and they’re. And that really annoys me. 😉

  19. TrueLifeDiva says:

    @HouseWifeHater
I said Lynn’s info was at the top… You can click on her bio and get all the info you need. You only saw PayPal and assumed that was what I meant? For real? Explains a lot. And when I said “TMI” I was saying you were explaining way too much for no reason. Several people gave you the email addy and yet you kept coming back to explain why it was a secret. Like you’ve finally admitted, you could have asked for the info under your normal moniker and no one would have batted an eyelash. Like I said last night, “No one cares.” And no one was drunk, don’t flatter yourself.

    • Whatever-I thought that you said that the email was posted at the top of the blog-not a link to the email.
How is wondering if people had too much to drink on a Saturday night flattering myself? And would you know who was and was not drinking? Maybe I was talking about myself!
Seriously, you were really rude to me, and when you ask someone a question or call them out to explain themselves and then accuse them of TMI that is just ridiculous.

      • And I sent email to the addys that were posted but they were the wrong address.

        • And just for the record, this is what you said copied, TrueLifeDiva the troll slayer says:
          November 13, 2010 at 11:43 pm

(unquote). That to me looked like you were saying that the email was at the top of the page, not a link to the email. The only email ON the page, is the Paypal one. I had not even noticed the new stuff on the side of the page, so it was the first time that I saw it.

          • (quote)TrueLifeDiva the troll slayer says:
November 13, 2010 at 11:43 pm HEY LYNN!!! Can you please post your current e-mail? @NotMyRealNameIAmNotTheTroll is too lazy to look at the top of the blog for you e-mail and doesn’t want anyone to know “someone” wants to speak with you in private.(unquote)

        • Kat says:

Only the first addy omitted the A.
          3 other posts did not.
          Me – sober, but tired.

  20. Real working Mom in NYC says:

I think that you made yourself very clear about who you were referencing but got caught in the crossfire after the line became blurred a little while later with the mention of Chicago Now. That might be the nugget that got her ire up to elicit her response.

  21. TrueLifeDiva says:

@HouseWifeHater, the ONLY comment to you was TMI. Don’t lump anyone elses comments at my door. You could have simply posted your request for her address under your normal name or whatever and been done with it. You dragged that mess out acting dramatic and reponding to every single comment. And then mentioning your e-mail came back? And then announcing you are leaving to do something but will come back? Too much! You brought the attention on yourself by acting weird. I think you wanted to stir something up so you could fake cry now. Oh well, did you finally e-mail Lynn? Never mind. I don’t really care.

  22. bacasam says:

Wow, I’m new to this blog world. I entered in to simply wanted to find more information, such as if others saw things how I saw them, was I the crazy, was it them? • bacasam says:

Also, girls just wanna have fun here. Now we have Drama about a drama?!!!??

    • Omg that’s how I got sucked into all of this blogging mess too! Kelly had lost her mind and I was looking around my empty living room like, wtf??? No one irl watches the show and I needed to talk about it. One thing lead to another and now I’m writing recaps twice a week. Lol.

      • bacasam says:

I got caught in the same fishing net! 🙂

    • housewifeaddict says:

      Me too!!!

      • dickens says:

        Totally me too!
I am and was a Project Runway and Top Chef addict who accidentally (because of their penchant for replaying eps.) became a Bravo fan. When the HWs started, I tried to avoid the shows but over time I would catch smidgens of dialogue and random scenes to the point where I grudgingly became a HW watcher. I never admitted to anyone that I watched until Scary Island and, boy, I went crazy also. I had to tell my daughter that I watched it so that I could get her to DVR those infamous 3 episodes with the promise that she would enjoy (is that the right word?) it. Anyway, I came out to my family – my son just shook his head. But yeah, when I found Lynn’s page it was an oasis in the desert. How amazing is it that this group found such a nice haven in much the same way?
And re the original topic: I was shocked at that woman’s article or whatever it was. Hobby bloggers, hobby bloggers, hobby bloggers! Try saying that 3 times, fast.

        • dickens says:

That was the longest comment I ever made. Just have to note that my comment was made at 9:14 and 9/14 is my birthday (because I’m like that).

        • housewifeaddict says:

I started with Project Runway and then Top Chef too. Avoided RHWOC completely, and still haven’t watched it. By NY drew me in – and now ….

        • karrylin says:

Love it…you came out to your family about being a HW fan…hahahaha, I know exactly what you mean. My daughter smiles…and has a glaze over her eyes, and invisible duct tape on her mouth I think..so she wont hurt my feelings…hahahaha
But even my husband said…to me after a particularly rough emotional day…..”honey, go read your housewife stuff….you’ll forget about today and be laughing…again.”
          wow, he noticed….
          teehee

          • Tracy (w/out an 'E') aka mscarp says:

You are lucky to have a supportive husband; not all of us do. Luckily my daughter is onboard with the HW addictions, though I feel a bit guilty for exposing her at such a young age. I think I read somewhere that the family that housewives together stays together…or something like that.

  23. Need a Hobby says:

OK. RCH: I’ve followed JS and read her stuff for quite a while now. Thought she was ok and then began to notice stuff.

Since you don’t follow all the drama online, basically JS for a long time IMO has had a animus against a certain unnamed (unpaid) blogger (whose initials are *cough* LH). And has intermittently carried on essentially a one-sided feud with this unnamed unpaid blogger. That is to say, JS from time to time goes on rants on twitter and her personal blog against this unnamed unpaid writer and her followers and posters. She won’t directly attack Lynn by name, but it’s Lynn who she’s attacking. JS goes on about how she’s a paid blogger, writes for newspapers, yahoo, etc, has novels coming out and…. a development deal with NBC!! And with all this wonderful, wonderful stuff going on (wouldn’t you think it’s wonderful?), goes out of her way to attack poor lowly unpaid bloggers, their readers & posters who don’t even talk about her. Hmn,

Recently JS went on a twitter rant episode and blogged several times on her personal blog against this unnamed blog writer. Her attacks on the unnamed blogger were IMO vicious and unprovoked. (Talk about negative and mean spirited.) Amidst other angry digs, JS indirectly just kind of strongly suggested that there was an attempted virus attack or hack or something along those lines on her CN blog and allegedly it all led back to this unnamed unpaid blogger. Now Lynn’s no dope IMO, but frankly I don’t think she could hack a hamster. Much less plant something on her blog specifically designed just to get transmitted via mutual readers along to you know who’s site.

Nevertheless, JS started ranting about investigations, getting cease & desist letters, legal action, etc. That’s when for me it passed from ok, JS has an axe to grind to this is flat out wtf nuts.

And then after all this self induced frenzy, JS portrays herself as a victim of attacks that never happened and rallies followers to her cause against the big bad unpaid blogger whose name she doesn’t deign to type. Just stirring up shit. (Does this MO sound familiar? Think of the ho’wives who pull this shit.)

So with your online “connection” with the unnamed blogger (yes, you are now part of the conspiracy) of course JS took your blog about another yahoo altogether as being just another “attack” on her by the forces of the dreaded one. And she responded as she usually does.

It’s not about a “misunderstanding.” It’s what she does.

    • Lovin' this blog! says:

Is she bipolar? She’s not right, right?

    • jezzibel says:

wow..the $**t that goes on in the blogosphere, Lynn and RCH are almost in need of combat pay!

    • bacasam says:

Thanks for the background, now know for sure, it IS Drama about drama. Geez, insecurity and obliviousness from a “writer” about a show where the ‘stars” eagerly signed up for? Calgon, take me away…..

    • Ok. It’s all making a little more sense now. Thanks for filling me in, I was totally unaware of all this. I thought her blogs were pretty funny… what a shame.
It’s too bad everyone can’t all get along. Why all the competition? If your blog is good people will read it, very simple. Lynn having a successful blog doesn’t take readers away from her.
And she says “hobby blog” like it’s a bad thing. Any of us could have ads on our blogs tomorrow if we wanted. So what if we get paid or don’t get paid? Some people make competitions out of the silliest things.

      • housewifeaddict says:

Lynn posted a counter on her blog earlier today – and has had over a million hits. Maybe that’s part of it. Who knows? Urgh. It’s always something.

      • Need a Hobby says:

There are other factors too, IMO. It’s not simply about “competition” or Lynn or you. You’re looking at it from a rational perspective. There’s something else at work here IMO.

I can speculate but I think it’s better I save dissection for the Ho’wives. It’s more fun.

    • icantstandthetoxicity says:

You summed it up perfectly Need a Hobby. JS attacks Lynn on a regular basis and whenever someone sticks up for Lynn, JS plays the victim card. I have never heard Lynn say a bad thing about her. I don’t think JS is playing with a full deck. She is always ranting and raving on Twitter. It’s just a matter of time before her irrational behavior finally catches up with her. I stopped following her on Twitter after she made the hacking allegation. She claims that she wants peace but she is always stirring the pot. She starts fights and then accuses other people of attacking her. She will probably write another blog about this blog and the comments. I think she likes having temper tantrums on the internet. It’s her hobby. LOL

    • Damnert says:

Need A Hobby – has sooooo hit it spot on. I saw the rotten unprovoked attack entries by Jennifer Sales, whom, in turn deleted two of them. Doesn’t matter. They were out there. You can’t take it back.

If these “Professional” paid bloggers who support each other ( not just talking about Jen Sales, but the “professional” bloggers that slap her on the back and say “good gurl” everytime she does this) , think they are furthering themselves, they are wrong….

Don’t reward bad behavior, and those “professionalsP patting Jen on the back know exactly who they are,

by the way. Jen is on the personal with Dina Manzo. They email back and forth all the time. THAT puts RHO and Lynn on the Jen radar from the get go….

    • karrylin says:

do you mean….that her main reason for writing is to stir up crap? for any reason she can find? for clicks? for pay?
like as in….doesnt care who she hurts, or if she does her job very well…just as long as she keeps the shit pot stirring…enough that people will read her recaps of anger….it gets her paid by the clicks?
that to me..and believe me…I am not very savvy about the T word…how it works, or why someone does it…
but that in my limited understanding is explaining why this person…might be so “angry”….just to get people to her blog?
      for money?
      Am I close?
or totally so far out in left field I have no right to own a computer…?
I’ve read the pot stirring stuff and there is a lot more of it, than there is anything else…I’ve been able to find anyway.
so…all the fighting is a way to drive bizness her way? oh…I mean, to the advertisers that pay her to write anything?
glad I am not a techy….the moral dilemma’s must be unbearable, especially in todays economy….how much can you click your soul away to? how many clicks does it take? yuckeeeeee

      • Need a Hobby says:

Um. I don’t think the essential issue is about money at all.

Again, that’s trying to look at it from a rational perspective. And it simply doesn’t and won’t make sense from that perspective.

  24. Meg1964 says:

I certainly don’t want to get caught up in this mess, but I have to speak up in RCHs defense. RCH is all about fun, IMO. I feel shocked that someone would even think that you were trying to stir the pot. You clearly posted the link to the guy’s blog that you were referring to… and you’re right. It was horrible.

I want to like everybody, but when somebody attacks RCH, it makes it hard for me to overlook. You were the first HW blogger that I consistently read, and I feel quite partial to you. I gave you my HW cherry. 🙂 Its the wine. I should stop, huh?

    • Tam5115 says:

I’m with you, Meg. Of course you knew that, right? You got me watching these RH shows, and I got you coming here to read RCH. We’re as thick as thieves. 🙂

I do not know this Jenn person, I do not care about this Jenn person. I never read a single one of her blogs. I’m sorry I gave her a “click” this time to read her temper tantrum. A big old FU to her, from me.

I come here because I love the humor, I love the community we have built here. I will continue to come here and I will continue to not read Jenn.

It is jealousy and some sick and twisted issue she has with Lynn. Lots of people get paid for doing things that aren’t all that special. Lots of people do something wonderful for free. You, my friend RCH, are in the latter category.

  25. TrueLifeDiva says:

@HouseWifeHater, I put that request out there to Lynn to post the true e-mail addy or contact you directly so that the nonsense would stop. You KEPT coming back. And now your dragging it out over here the next day. Why do you make simple things SO difficult? I’m not your enemy, truly I’m not. But stop and try to think logically sometimes, okay?
    Peace out, sister.

    • Well the reason that I went back & copied what you said, is because you came over here & said that you did not say that.
(that the email was at the top of the blog) it is not.
Seriously, I don’t have a problem with you or anyone else who was, in my opinion, being rude, but I do not think that I am the only person that this has happened to lately.
The whole point of posting about it is to say that I have never seen anyone attacked the way that I was, over simply asking for Lynn’s email. And-that people have asked before, so it wasn’t like I thought I was doing anything shady.
Maybe you are having the same kind of trouble that I am, not being able to see all of the comments, because there actually were people mentioning that they were drinking last night btw.
And yeah I mentioned it here, because I came here on purpose, knowing that RCH also used Word Press, and I was trying to see if I could post on any WP site.
Also to let people know that for some reason, (maybe my own machine), I am having trouble posting & seeing the posts on Lynn’s site.
Thanks for the advice about being logical, but sometimes being logical is TMI.

    • oldcrone says:

I gave you a thumbs up because you said “peace out”. I love peace.

      🙂

  26. Jen says:

The guy obviously either didn’t watch the show closely or doesn’t get what it’s about- kyle and Taylor weren’t shopping in NY and Adrienne wasn’t there with friendS just 1 friend- ugh! Hate writers who can’t get basic facts right

  27. TrueLifeDiva says:

    @HouseWifeHater,
OMG! The only comment “I” made was TMI! Someone else called you a maggot, etc. You really have a reading comprehension problem. Your argueing with me over something someone else said? You are hopeless. You will always be a victim if you vision is this cloudy. Once again, peace!

    P.S.
Don’t even bother replying, you’re too confused to register.

  28. jezzibel says:

Ms. Sale if your reading the comments…..SOUR GRAPES MUCH!!!

  29. Jenn just posted this on twitter and asked her followers to RT for all of the people (like me) who she blocked today:

You can RT this if ya want in case some have been blocked and are wondering why… I’m blocking by association…sorry. It’s not done out of anger or malice, I just choose do not deal with anyone that associates with a particular blog. Twitter followers are not worth compromising my views. I would never TELL someone not to follow another, but I am my own gatekeeper to the content on my feed. Taking a stand isn’t always popular, but it’s how I feel. I won’t chew you out, or freak if you choose to unfollow me too. I’m a live and let live kinda gal. But this whole nonsense stems from one source…so I’m just totally cutting it out. Again, no hard feelings or malice, just sticking to my beliefs. Free Speech is a wonderful right, but it doesn’t mean that it’s ok to use that right to hurt others. Whether they are on TV, Twitter, or not. “all in good fun” is one thing, but what is going on via blogs and Twitter is beyond the realm of acceptable. So I’m blocking that because it’s simply toxic, and I do not like the person it makes me. So no hard feelings, but that’s it.

    • housewifeaddict says:

Reminds me of high school. I’m not on twitter – what does RT mean?

      • Tuzentswurth says:

OMG It is high school. I took this blog about the Yahoo guy to be about the Yahoo guy where the link took me. RCH, I know you are a straight shooter and I don’t need to get my PhD in cryptology to enjoy this blog. Thanks RCH, you know what? I support you and adore you…in a cyberspace way, not an I’m stalking you way……If this JS (and I’m pretty sure I know who this is) is having a tiff w/you, I’m going to check my twitter and lose the bitch if I follow her. Also, I have glanced at that blog, but rarely ever read it, I didn’t find it that entertaining. Hell, I didn’t know she even got paid to write it.

    • dickens says:

All that “toxic” talk and cutting people out sounds an awful lot like JZ, doesn’t it?

    • Tam5115 says:

She is ridiculous! She’s not convincing anyone who has a brain and can put 2 and 2 together to get 4.

The fact is: she’s pissed at Lynn. Why? Maybe because there were questions about her rumored good friend, Dina’s charity. Then again, her friendship with Dina is a rumor. I don’t really buy a rumor straight out because we all know that rumors are just that, rumors. The last damn time I bought tabloids was after Princess Diana was killed. I bought them because it was suggested that I shouldn’t read them. No one is going to tell me what I can or cannot read…period!

Yeah, I’m all about free speech. This Snag? I’m exercising my right to not read her garbage. I’m also exercising my right to call it as I see it. I read and enjoy what I wish to. I read what I enjoy. I have the right to do that. I have the right to not read Dean Koontz because I find his stuff stupid. I have the right to love Stephen King because I find his stuff incredibly entertaining. Jenn can say that because she gets paid, she’s legitimate. I have the right to say that her getting paid for her drivel means nothing to me. I’m sticking with RCH because she makes me LAUGH. Because I just like her, dammit!

I enjoy Lynn too, and I’m happy for her. she has a shitload of readers, and yes, I read her stuff too. (Just not everyday) I read RCH because she’s my favorite, she makes me laugh, and I truly enjoy the friends I’ve made here. Jenn can kiss my fat ass.

    • LilyLynn says:

      G’morning all….
The comment in Jenn’s above twitter that “I’m a live and let live kinda gal.”
      Haaaahaaaaahaaaa. Whatever.

  30. justanothermary says:

Housewifehater – As I saw it, the whole problem was that you came onto Lynn’s blog using a moniker that was asking for trouble IMHO. You then proceeded to misspell Lynn’s name, intimate some “secret” info you needed to share and ask for her email address. After all the troll shit we’ve been scrapping off our shoes over there lately everyone’s troll alert is on level RED and if you weren’t trying to spread more manure, you certainly acted as if you were. Had you simply come in with your usual moniker and asked for Lynn’s email, no prob, email addy given, end of issue. It could have been so easy. BTW, I was NOT drinking anything more than water and 1 Dr. Pepper last night.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

      @housewifehater:
I’m really surprised at you. What is all the secrecy about? Why couldn’t you just be normal about your request? Seems almost like a set up.

I’m also disappointed that you are blaming the other poster’s trepidations about your request on alcohol, rather than on your piss poor communication style.

Even Lynn was confused as you misspelled her name 3 times. Maybe you were the one drinking?

    • justanothermary says:

Oh no, someone didn’t like my post. I wonder who that could be, hmmmm. Maybe a lazy lump of drunken flesh is wondering through here voting thumbs down to people who drink Dr. Pepper.

      • OK you guys, I hope this is the last time I explain this, I did not want the people that I was referring-to to know that I had something to tell Lynn.
I KNOW that everyone is on red-alert. Stupidly, that is why I didn’t just make up some random name, I thought that would make sense.
I honestly thought that I was copying how someone else had posted a request like that without stirring-up trouble-like, “you guys know who I am, but I’m posting with a fake name, because I don’t want someone that might be here to know that its me”
For the record, I was not drinking either, I have no problem if people are drinking or not but there was a full moon.
TLD is obviously a trouble-making u-know-what , but it all got lumped together, plus Lynn’s blog was acting goofy, and my email was bouncing.
Spelling Lynn’s name wrong was my attempt to disguise my identity. I had to go-back and take-out all of my hyphens, and I did miss one, and I was afraid to say, “You guys”-as-in, “You guys are going overboard here and this thing has taken-over”…so that is what I was trying to do by spelling Lynn’s name incorrectly.
WSL posted a link on Lynn’s blog that led me to a Bible site that equated trolls with paranioa. When spelling someone’s name incorrectly & asking for an email addy raises red-flags, etc. I agree.
I know that was me posting, but there have been other people who have been accused like I was last night who I do not know who they are, and it really is mean.
I know this is TMI, I guess I can be thankful that I’m not on Twitter right now or I may just loose my mind.
Sorry to anyone that I accused by lumping everyone together, like Kat. Also, sorry to have caused a fuss over nothing.
It was very annoying to be jumped-on like that.

  31. Miss Anthrope says:

I like to watch twitter from afar. I witness the drama and keep my comments to a minimum. So I know who JS is…kind of. I read her blog once after someone flipped out on her. My impression was that she had a major chip on her shoulder. Her blogs are defensive, snooty, and self important. All that crap about being a big time writer for yahoo and supposedly having all these other projects in the works…it just reeked. So this doesn’t really surprise me.

  32. Well it looks like I’m not the only one with drama on twitter today. This was posted by a twitter friend of mine:

    http://ohreallylauraimnotaliar.blogspot.com/

I don’t know if this was supposed to be funny or not, but it had me cracking up. Especially half way through the veeery long post when she says “To make a long story short” and then continues on for 1,000 more paragraphs. And the 1 cent money order. Lmao. Just a warning: I read all the way to the end and still have no clue what she is talking about.

    • housewifeaddict says:

Oh I’m glad you didn’t understand it either. Sounded like one of Jacqueline’s blogs.

    • Miss Anthrope says:

      Oh Christ…

I stopped reading as soon as I saw the twitter names she mentioned. I think I’ve seen that feud like 5x, only with a different person.

No way you read all that crap????? Oh my gosh, what is wrong with these people? Get a life, and some medication.
I’m kinda feeling uncomfortable being on the (my two favs-this and Lynn’s) blogs this week due to all the angry tirades and hate being thrown around. Just not a good vibe. Maybe I’ll come back at a later date.

    • Tam5115 says:

OMG… that woman is completely F’d as far as writing skills. It’s incomprehensible what she wrote there. Sorry, not going to even try and follow that shit.

  33. Miss Anthrope says:

I’d also like to point out that for such a “professional” writer, Jennifer sure does make a lot of simple mistakes. For example, she uses “their” when she should be using “they’re” and “that” instead of “who”. Normally I would notice that stuff and shrug it off because we all make those mistakes from time to time, but we aren’t trying to convince ourselves and others that we are “professional” writers, are we?

    • Omg. I wish you would go over her post with a red marker. That would make me laugh. I only notice bad spelling and grammer when it’s REALLY bad.

      • Tam5115 says:

I do too. And if there is one thing that makes my irritation limit start beeping like a smoke alarm, is the to, too, two misuse AND the lose, vs. loose deal. I get it and don’t “tilt” when it happens on a message board, but a supposedly legitimate source? Like a news site? OMFG… I feel the sneer just forming without any will to do it.

  34. The Real Story says:

JS has some serious issues. Please be leery of her and anything to do with her.

    First,
JS went on her latest rampage when Lynn was offered her podcast. You could see the jealousy seeping between the tweets.
    Second,
I have had an eye on JS’s tweets and blogs since I came to twitter a couple years ago. I followed her for a little while and just read her tweets and her blogs. Then one day last winter I asked her a question about where she was getting her legal information from and she blocked me.

I always thought it was odd that a so called ‘professional paid blogger’ (which she is always insisting that she is) had her comments turned off…that is until I spoke to someone that knows her.
Now I understand that this poor woman has serious issues.

IMHO only a cowardly and unprofessional writer does not allow comments on their writings. Real writers welcome the critique as it helps them become better writers. She knows she is a coward because whenever she is questioned she blocks the person and goes on one of her irrational rants.

She also constantly claims she has no life because of her assignments, yet if you think about it, these are all articles she chooses to write and then bitches about it constantly. I doubt very much that anyone paying her is liking her continuous rants about this. When she believes that you are doing better than she is, she gets her ass tied in knots and starts shitting all over the other blogger without giving names.

To you other bloggers that know JS, be wary of getting better assignments or offers because then and only then will you become a threat to her and she will start her insane troubles with you and your followers.

I wouldn’t be afraid of her so called “legal threats” because they are untrue and she does not know the law, so I wouldn’t worry.

I feel very sorry for this woman and believe she needs more medication.
JS has a problem getting along with anyone who may disagree with her and she does not play well with others.

She just is not happy unless she is stirring the pot so lets just all ignore her, and her rants and allow her to blog on and write her imaginary books which she keeps crowing about. I just had to speak up as I am tired of her nauseating life and her stories of woe.

And my final note is to JS, Be wary of trademark infringement. Do you know what this is? Look it up. It’s a big bed of legal troubles.

I Hope you learn something from these comments and you get to your doctor pronto as you need a raise in your medications.

RCH, Have a wonderful week and thank you for allowing me to post my thoughts on your blog page.
This shows your not afraid. Kudos to you all that do not block your readers comments.

    • Hey thanks for the comment. 😀
The thing is… I think people were (for the most part) ignoring her up until today. I think that was part of her problem. She just got a ton of attention from all this and that was probably what she wanted.
Yes, my comments are open. Which is why I don’t understand why she went and wrote that backhanded “saying it without really saying it” blog when she could have just left a comment and said “I don’t like what you said and here is why…”
I think she’s been spending too much time with her idol Dina. Seriously, there are some real scary parallels between Dina’s twitter behavior, and Jenn’s.

  35. I just found out another theory as to why Jenn might have taken the post so personal. You know that “award” she is always bragging about? Well, it’s an award handed out by Associated Content which basically means (now that we see what kind of standards they have for their writers and understand more about how it works) that her “fancy award” doesn’t really mean shit. So I guess it was the “anyone can write for AC” comment someone left that really sent her overboard. I’m starting to see the motivation behind her crazy.

And I see a lot of new posters! Hi!!! Thanks for dropping by the blog. Hope u stick around! 🙂

    • Tam5115 says:

I don’t know of the “award” she’s always bragging about. I don’t read what she has to say. Heh.

    • Need a Hobby says:

      Yes.

Before I got hooked on real housewives’ mania, I primarily watched documentaries, Nat Geo, science, etc.. Fascinating stuff. I live in earthquake country. Out here we’ve learned that rigid & also tenuously built edifices don’t do well when they’re built on sandy soil that can turn to mush when a tremor hits. Gotta go down to bedrock or firm ground and build from there so the whole thing won’t fall apart.

  36. Isharemymeds says:

Damn Girl! She writes ALL that and then closes comments!
Who the fuck is the Delusional one that doesn’t want to hear the truth?

Reminds me of Kelly, Danielle, and now Camille. Let’s start out feeling victimized (or more like picking fights), then let me tell everyone why I’m better, and brag, bitch, brag, bitch.

Sorry, Jenn, We are ALL drinking the Real Housewives and reality show Kool-Aid, but I’m sure in your Crazy Camille mind, You Won!

We snark, LOADS!!!! about people that CHOOSE to put their BS on air, but then again, Doesn’t Howard Stern? I believe he makes MILLIONS!!!! Jenn, (I know you are reading this!), because, the fact that you are a PROFESSIONAL and getting paid a mere hundreds a day is what makes you better than the ‘WordPress bloggers, then think again.
Me, the POSTER, has no idea who is a PROFESSIONAL or even getting paid or the difference in status between Yahoo or WordPress. Really, Jen, I don’t care. I post when I am enjoying a good discussion.

RCH, I love your blog. I enjoy others, but I have always love ‘picture books.’ I have a blogspot (nothing of mass interest, for my friends when I travel). Blogging is very time consuming and I know all the work you put in watching the shows online, writting recaps, making little videos, picture blogging. ‘Who else does that?’ Thank You.

Lynn, Girl, you are famous! I had no idea who you were, but in my other blog, they hated you with a passion and your name came up a lot. So, I wondered over and nothing looked much different. I was warned that if I ever posted anything that you didn’t agree with, you would give me a beatdown and block me. I read it but don’t post much, but only because you are too famous. I am always tardy for the party and I just can’t handle reading 300 comments before I post.
RCH is cozy and more my style (but I’m sure she is going to get popular like you).

Up to today, I had no idea who this Jenn was. RCH, I think you gave her too many ‘clicks.’

    Yours Truly,
    -an Unprofessional Unpaid Poster

    • Aw thank you for that! I think the only person who is truly concerned with “professional” vs “non professional” is Jenn. I checked out the AC thing she was talking about. You fill out a form (name, address, etc,) and there your go – you are a part of AC. Anyone can sign up. And it was made clear by that guy’s BH recap that anyone can get published too.

  37. Isharemymeds says:

    see, Unprofessional
    wandered

  38. momsthoughts says:

My two cents (because I know RCH cares about my thoughts 🙂 If you like a blog, read it. If you don’t- by all means, don’t read it. If you don’t like someone’s opinion or attitude, don’t follow them on twitter. Its blissfully simple in my humble opinion. I like RCH – always have. I will continue to read her recaps because, in my opinion, they are HILARIOUS! And when they stop being hilarious, I will stop reading them. I do not care if she gets paid or doesn’t get paid, as long as I am not being billed, it just doesn’t matter to me.

  39. Had Enough! says:

Oh dear. Ms. Sale is channeling Ms. Bensimon, claiming to be a writer. The Editor is pleading to be let out to demonstrate just how far from a writer Ms. Sale has shown herself to be with this poorly reasoned, poorly written screed. Disregarding typos, the Editor counts at least a dozen errors in that short piece, including incorrect homonyms, incorrect demonstrative adjectives, and sentences with far too many clauses (buy a period!).

The Editor must admit that the quality of this piece is, however, better than the garbage generated by Ms. Bensimon. However, the Editor then peeked at some of Ms. Sales’ other pieces. Oh my. Ms. Sales just finished huffing and puffing her moral indignation at other bloggers:

“The hate and vitriol spewed within the content and comments is disgusting. Anybody that participates in that whether it be on a blog or social media should be ashamed and really should not have anything to do with me or what I’m about. I don’t want to associate with anyone that views that as ‘entertainment’. It is absolutely gross. The idea there isn’t to write it’s to slam others. ”

But she wrote this: “After Lisa put Cedric back in his crate next to Giggy’s, she headed over to Kyle’s house with a Shaman to exorcise the demons from the lady that goes bonkers on an airplane. Sure they did things with electrodes and hypnosis…sure. But how much you wanna bet Lisa just slipped her a Mickey? Girlfriend was flying the plane with Prince Roofie.”

Apparently, vitriol and hate must be acceptable if one is paid for one’s vitriol and hate. Though the Editor will send this particular item to Legal, as it seems rather libelous (accusing someone of giving illegal substances to another person).

The Editor pauses to note that Sales has misappropriated the Editor’s moniker for Ms. Bensimon (Sasquatch) though she has truncated the full form: Zarin’s Trained Sasquatch.

The Editor will not lower herself to Ms. Sales’ level but would surely clap – at some length – for anyone else who wishes to invite Ms. Sales to suck eggs.

  40. momsthoughts says:

BTW, I put a link to your blog on my tumblr 🙂 – I know, you are beyond thrilled!(where is that sarcasm font when you need it) lol!!

    (Out of lurk mode)

Reading this RC blog page is like watching multiple tennis matches at once. Plot, sub-plots and an un-related plot thrown in for good measure.

Great editorial comment, Had Enough. All the errors in that Sale piece made me twitch!

    • bacasam says:

Totally agree. And as for the previous comment of looking up Trade Infringement? From my brief reading of a few of her blogs, afraid whoever is brave enought will need to use a marker or crayons with VERY SIMPLE pictures for her to follow much less understand. Big words are hard! Unbelievable.

  42. The Real Blog Troll says:

Truelifedive, and Boston needs to G.T.F.O.H ! With your drama mess, there is no need for you guys to leave that other blog, and drag the drama on over this way! They all jump down posters throat claiming others are all trolls… ,and WALL STREET LADY who’s always in her ”penth suite” ,and or know almost everyone who is in show business is ANNOYING! They all jump down others throat yet think it is ”cute, and entertaining” when WSL posts 99.99% of the time with incomprehensible grammar! Give me a flipping break! I pity the fools! As much as RCH annoys me, always picking on someone I know personally from the Jersey cast, I have to admit I still read her blogs daily to get a good laugh, and stir shit up once in a while as a troll ,its my hobby 🙂

  43. Had Enough! says:

Wait. I thought today was Monday. I thought Tuesday was troll day?

  44. The Real Blog Troll says:

It depends on how bored I am, how much free time I have to piss you daily posters off, or if ,and when you write about someone from the Jersey cast 🙂

  45. I have a question, since I’m not a professional writer and all. Which one makes sense?

“Anyone with a 5th grade reading comprehension would see…”
“Anyone with the reading comprehension of a 5th grader would see…”

Or some combination of those words.

Also, I realize the page is loading very slowly. I’ll have a new blog soon.

  46. Had Enough! says:

So…some claims have been that people are leaving IHJZ. I don’t see how that claim has any plausibility given not only the number of comments but the number of new people and lurkers plus regulars on IHJZ. It is a boatload of people over there. But just for the record, I want everyone to know that I know why I am not there, and it is strictly for personal reasons. I still say hello once in a while. I love all those posters (most of them are here today, too). They make me laugh and they are just terrific, smart, funny, brave women (and a few men). My not being there has nothing to do with IHJZ. I love Lynn and she knows it. And I also know why some other people don’t show up as much as they once did. Most often, it is because they get too busy. But bottom line is that it is about QUALITY, not QUANTITY and Lynn and her fam are solid gold.

I must say that it is quite an honor to have Mr. T trolling here today.

  48. The Real Blog Troll says:

In response to your professional writing question.

Any individual, with a reading comprehension of a 5th grader, would know. Your Canadian ,you should know better not to write, and sound as the many poorly written, and sounding Americans who attended ”Ivy League” ,and private schools. Come on!

  49. The Real Blog Troll says:

It’s actually joomla fugma. The actual word became a drab to me,so I decided to re name it, jumbla fugmata.
