Ok, so getting to the point: A lot of people are wondering exactly what the fuck happened on twitter the other day (Feb 2011). It all began when JS (Jenn Sale) started tweeting and blogging about personal things that were happening in her relationship. I can’t show you the tweets because she has since deleted her twitter account, but here are the screen shots of a couple of the blogs she posted (also now deleted):

Later on that night, after the last blog post, she tweeted that she had checked into a hotel and was safe.
This situation inspired some people to want to get involved and help, and when they did, information started being revealed. Here are the things that started coming out about Zen Jenn:

When all this info came out people online began tweeting to Jenn and asking her about it. She tweeted a few answers blaming her (ex?) husband for her arrest. Eventually she tweeted that no one will believe her no matter what she says and deleted her twitter account. She said she was fine before twitter and would be fine after it…. But then she created a new twitter account within an hour. That account has also since been deleted and as of now she just uses her RealityZen twitter account. After her original twitter disappeared she posted a new blog, but deleted all the posts written before that. That new blog post has also since been deleted, but here is the screen shot:

After all the vague references to unspecified people and events in that blog, we are only left with more questions.

I know I’m a little late in these responses, but I do have a comment to make about the suicide of that teenage girl who posted her last message on twitter along with the explanation that everyone has been asking for.
Last fall there was a woman who was friends with quite a few of us here in this group.
I will cut to the chase cause this is long and I don’t want to take up more room on this blog. Anyway she was drinking that day and was not at all happy with anyone. She was calling people out left and right saying some horrible things to people that she was angry at and was posting with many spelling mistakes and repeated words.
Wellsies, (lol) after a whole day of this she posted that she took a ‘boat load’ of pills and said goodbye and other things like, she would ‘see us on the other side’. A number of people on twitter were frantic, thinking that this woman, whom had children, had taken pills and nobody knew what to do.
A number of people, including me, had written URGENT messages to twitter asking them to get her IP and call the police. There was no response to anyone’s message, except the automated message saying that they had gotten your message and would get back to you. Not what you want to hear when you believe someone’s life is at stake.
Anywho…..
So, I decided that enough time had passed and called 911. I spoke to the operator, and gave her as much information as I could. There wasn’t a lot she could do seeing we were in different states, so I got back on twitter and by the luck of the Irish, I found that one of her followers had her cell phone number.
I called 911 back and they put me through to the area code’s emergency response network. I was put through to the police and spent almost an hour trying to explain to this police woman what was happening.
(During this time, we were all still watching her account and nothing. She was not responding.)
Your not going to believe this, but I swear on my life it’s true. This police department did NOT have Internet access! This woman didn’t even have any idea what Twitter was.
I thought, ‘oh great, now what’?
After going through all of this (and now it’s almost 2 hours since she wrote “see you on the other side, or something to that effect.) She finally took down the cell phone number and the information a number of kind people had collected from her friends (who were all still waiting anxiously to find out what happened to her).
She said she would call me back and hung up. I informed everyone as to what was happening and we all sat nervously awaiting the call back.
About an hour later the phone rang, and it was her, the female policewoman. She explained to me that they found out who she was and where she lived from her cell phone information and had sent a couple cars to her house. They knocked but nobody answered, so they pounded on the door and they heard someone yell that they were coming.
She (the woman who ‘took the boatload of pills) answered the door and was quite pissed off that the police were there pounding on her door and she denied saying she took the pills. She denied saying she would see us on the other side. She denied it all. They checked on her son and left.
That was it. The visit took 5 minutes total. Most of it was her saying this was all a lie.
We all were thankful, yet very upset that she had put us through this. (A sweet woman on twitter even left a meeting at work, to try and keep her tweeting so we could find her)
So, Let’s say, the whole bunch of us were pissed off but glad that it had not happened. If this was not enough, this woman comes back on twitter about eight hours later, deletes a couple of her ‘see you on the other side’ tweets and tweeted that ‘SHE was PISSED off that SOMEONE sent the POLICE to her house last night because THEY *the police* woke her and her son up!’ OMFG!
Your probably asking ‘why is she telling us this’, and it’s because I want people to know that first, there are some wonderful people on twitter with very big hearts, and second, it’s people like her who make other people on Twitter dismiss the REAL tweets of the people who are REALLY committing suicide.
I pray that this is not what happened with this teenager, and that it doesn’t ever happen again.
If you ask me now, would I do the same thing as I did that night, the answer is YES! Because I would never be able to live with myself had I not attempted to contact this woman and found out later that she had gone through with it.
Okie Dokie. So now on to Jen. She did not say she was going to kill herself, nor did she ever indicate that she was going to hurt herself or her children, BUT She indicated that she was in an abusive situation that she could not get out of. She said that her husband was ‘holding her hostage’ by taking the battery out of the car and removing her cash and credit cards from her wallet.
Because I have volunteered on crisis hotlines for years,
I knew there were many ‘underground’ shelters out there who will come in, and in two hours, will have the abused woman and her children out of the house, far away. They will give them a new life with a place to live, help them change their name, get a job and give them money to help them get started. All of this so the abuser cannot find them because sometimes orders of protection do not work.
Anyway, because of what Jen saidin her blogs and on her Twitter page, I really thought that she needed this help. My heart broke for her and her children because nobody, not a man or woman should have to live their lives in fear.
She had been saying what an awful situation she was in, that her ‘husband’ burned her things, her clothes and the things her father had left her. She indicated that she was being held hostage with no way out, no money and she was fearful for herself and her children.
I made some phone calls with the information I had and tried to find someone to help her. I emailed her blogs and her tweets to a woman who’s name I will not reveal and waited for her to collect the things she needed to, and to get a hold of Jen and try to get her out if she needed to get out.
I will not reveal what happened next but lets just say, my eyes were opened up and I found out that she was not the abused woman she was claiming to be. Nor was she in the situations she reported on her blogs.
I was more than angry and I apologize for this because it seems that she really does need help. Not from a shelter but from a professional psychiatrist or someone who can help her to stop with her lies.
I had to post this because I have been asked over and over about what happened and I wanted to clear the air.
If Jen actually was telling the truth, I wanted to hear it from her, so I asked her and she tweeted some kind of “fuck off” to me. I then became even more angry and posted the article I received (from someone I asked to help Jen)
I asked her to comment and she deleted her Twitter account and posted a blog (you can read it above) and she gave me a special shout out and she told me to “Go fuck myself”
So there is what happened in total. Nobody at twitter, no blogger, gave me that information. Nobody did anything to Jen but me, and it was a gesture that I would hope someone would do for me if I was in a situation like she described.
Jen keeps blaming Lynn and others for what happened and it was only me. Nobody else. So if the friends that she still has, want to tar and feather anyone, come and see me. I did it.
Now, ‘ask me would I do it again’? And I will tell you YES! Yes I would do it again in a heartbeat. Just because she used her blog to lie, does not mean that if someone else needed help, that I wouldn’t help.
I guess that means I am a sucker and I will let people use me, but I see it as, I hope that if I ever needed help, that there would be someone out there who would help me.
Okay, I’m done now. So I will go to twitter now and await the hate tweets and the name calling. I don’t care what you do. You cannot, and you will not ever, make me not care about another human being. If that is your goal, give it up.
Now that I’m done, I’m going to go try and ‘fuck myself’. I don’t know if it’s possible, but I’ve been told it so many times since this went down, I’m going to go try.

Shazzer’s monologue in defense of Jenn reminds me of the Law & Order Criminal Intent episode of those scam artists who wrote a book about an abused crippled girl who was abused by her foster parents. An incredible tale of strength and survival and faith. She had email and social networks but nobody ever met her. People donated tons of money to pay for her medicine and wheelchairs and hospital beds, etc. And one guy found out it was all a scam when he started asking questions and insisting on meeting her in person. He was murdered and that’s when Bobby and Eames stepped into the investigation.

I actually just saw that episode like 3 days ago. The daughter didn’t even exist, it was the foster mom on the phone the whole time talking in a child’s voice.
That was creepy.
I wish there was someway to get her husband’s side of the story. I am now thinking that maybe he isn’t that bad of a guy unless she drove him nuts.

Everynight she tweeted that she was having glass after glass of wine and in between those tweets she would make her mistakes and reveal her true self.

Also, McDonald’s corp will be contacting her soon as she ‘used’ their trademark protected “McNuggets” in her so called book and they want their money for it.

We were at my great-aunt Priscilla’s funeral when my mother dropped the bombshell in my cousin’s ear. Mom mentioned that friends and political associates had been buzzing in her own ear about running for Bob Bennett’s Senate seat, and she said, “I just might do it!”
My mom and I are a lot alike. In my post-adolescent desire to define myself independently from her, I must admit that I have inherited from her some traits for which I am extraordinarily grateful.
We like to talk. A lot. About anything. About everything. Give either of us a topic and chances are we’ll be gabbing for hours. It’s a reason to be thankful for unlimited cell phone minutes. Why am I grateful for this gift of gab? Awkward dates, teaching lessons to glassy, sleep-deprived college students, oral presentations. I’ve always got something to say. All thanks to my Mother.
I should throw in there that we both talk REALLY fast. Also inherited.
She learned to do it hosting talk radio.
We also perform a lot. If you direct your browser here (http://broadcast.lds.org/churchmusic/MP3/1/2/words/177.mp3) you’ll hear some cute stuff on the a church-produced children’s music CD, including my five-year- old voice, in addition to my talented parents. Rumor has it the producers actually instructed my parents to sing slightly “off.” These days my mom and I prefer to sing on key. Mom and I love to blend our voices in duets, Broadway fashion.
Throughout my childhood I was always proud of my “Broadway mom,” performing in shows in New York City, introducing me to some sweet, famous Broadway stars. (I still have a crush on Marc Kudisch.) I knew without a doubt that I won the “my-mom-is-better-than-your-mom!” contest because, not only was she driving me to piano, ballet, and ice skating lessons every day, but she also got me backstage at Cats or Thoroughly Modern Millie or Beauty and the Beast to visit one of her friends. That resulted in a truly embarrassing photo of myself in Bustopher Jones’ massive 60-pound costume. Top that one.
Although singing is the one thing she and I can do together on a pretty even playing field, we have similar interests in other areas, with one besting the other. I kick her trash at playing Rachmaninoff and Chopin, but she’s tops in sight-reading music. She’s not exactly the best at dancing in pointe shoes or in Latin Ballroom heels, but she’ll beat my diction any day of the week. Her diction is impeccable, something that I strive to emulate.
Have you ever read any of my mother’s writing? She’s pretty darn awesome.
While my style is a bit more conversational and full of pop culture references, I’d like to think that I inherited not only the skill, but the love and desire to write a well-written, moving, passionate, and ultimately entertaining paragraph from my ever-so-talented mom.
And although I was an intern for Sean Hannity, responsible for searching his topics of the day on the Internet, I prefer my mom’s political research and analysis.
Yes. I do have a Supermom. She sings! She dances! She plays piano! She writes! She does Cub Scouts! She makes cool birthday cakes! She gets me internships with Sean Hannity! She takes notes at every single piano lesson, scribing Yoshie’s truisms into countless notebooks, for five years straight! She teaches her kids to read at age four! She looks good as a brunette, platinum blonde, red-head, AND strawberry blonde!
You might have seen her invisible plane flying back and forth between DC and Salt Lake City, and I’m fairly certain there’s a magical, golden lasso floating around in her handbag.
Humor aside, and as fun as our shared interests are, I know that her desire to do great things and to make a difference in this world is easily the most important attribute she could have passed on to me as my mother.
So, even though my response was incredulous at her initial musings of running for office, I am excited to see her make a difference in the world by running for U.S. Senate.
In addition to all the sweet things my mom has done for me, she has always been politically active, fighting for a better future for her children and grandchildren. She has been there at critical junctures throughout her adult life. She has effectively influenced key legislation important to the family and the ideals of limited government.
Why do I believe she is running for this office? It’s what she has always told us: To protect all the good things she was able to do as a parent, in the hopes that I can one day do the same things with my own future children and have the freedom to do it. I’ve never known my mom to hesitate to make necessary bold statements, to stand for what she believes is right, to fight for the values and freedoms that are most precious to us as Americans.
While my mom and I might have a few differences here and there, I am grateful to have inherited her desire to do something that will have a lasting impact, affect change, and make the world a better place. She is a talented, willing, and impassioned conservative, one you will find unwaveringly committed to protecting the values Utah cherishes most: freedom and family.
Oh. And one more thing. As amazing and talented as my mother is, I do have one gripe about her and my upbringing. The “kitchen candy drawer” didn’t come into existence until after her grandchildren came along. What’s up with that…?!

What are you doing?” And he comes up with the most random hilarious things and then doesn’t remember anything in the morning. I used to do it all the time and tape him on my phone, but I haven’t done it in a while because he started getting upset about it.
My hubby used to do that too. My favorite was years ago when he suddenly announced: “A pound of frozen hamburger. Kick that with a steel toed boot… it ain’t going anywhere”
My son was a serious sleepwalker when he was in middle school. Serious to the point that I had to physically stop him from trying to leave the house in the middle of the night a few times. He is now 18 and doesn’t do it anymore but loves to hear the stories about the conversations he’d have with me while sound asleep. He was very much into repeats of The Fresh Prince of BelAir at that time and we’d have frequent conversations about the show while I sat there wondering if he’d remember any of it in the morning. These conversations usually started with him getting out of bed and asking “Where’s Carlton?” I routinely bust his ass now by asking him the same question.

Gotta question. Been re-reading all this shit and I see where this Jenn Sale person claims she has always been open about all this. With who? Some of you seem to have been following her for a long time. Has she ever mentioned in any of her umpteen blogs, twitter accounts, whatever that she was arrested and charged in Lake County with stealing 20k from her employer, NY & Co., in Vernon Hills? Did she ever mention that she was arrested again in June 2010 and charged in Dupage County with forgery and stuff?
Just curious. She sure didn’t tell that church she worked for. It would seem kinda weird that she’d then start telling the entire internet about it.
As far as I know she has not disclosed this stuff. Who would? But she was unmasked by worried people who wished to help her out an abusive situation.

Wowee, You couldn’t make up this crap! I never followed JS blogs. When I 1st discovered RH blogs, I surfed over to Reality Zen ( I think from either here or IHJZ) and quickly lost interest b/c it wasn’t very good imho. After seeing her drunken PTA video, and learning a bit about her, I think she is a very narcissistic, foul-mouthed, immature gal for a 29 yo mother of three. Her stories don’t add up and I would think she has been a trial to her husband and anyone else unfortunate enough to have to endure her (esp her children). Her stories really don’t add up at all, I don’t believe any of it.
BTW, I don’t have a rap sheet and I doubt 50% of us do. I think JS has one b/c she is a scammer and a pathological liar. She needs serious help, she seems mentally unstable to me. I hope for her kids sake, she gets straightened out.

As for turning up at a hotel with $8 in cash and getting a room, that actually happened to Tina Turner, after Ike Turner beat her up, as soon as he went to sleep she slipped out of the room of the Hotel they were staying at with nothing but the clothes on her back and fled to a Best Western( I think) and the manager knew who she was and felt bad for her and gave her refuge there.

You really need the word “disorder” in there either before syndrome or in lieu of it.
I actually do think she’s a good writer, although most of her articles seem rushed and like she doesn’t put a lot of effort into them, but when she does put the effort – like in the masterpiece theatre reunions, it’s good.
I used to read her Teen Mom and Jersey Shore recaps. Even after the drama last time I still read them sometimes. In fact, right before all this happened I had just read her Jersey Shore recap about the Sammi/Ronnie fight, and she used some similar sentences when describing Ronnie’s behavior as she used to describe her husband’s. That was another thing that made think twice about her story. Her personal drama was very similar to the Jersey Shore drama.
Honestly I think she does have talent, but she’s sabotaging herself with her jealousy and insane behavior. Instead of attacking Lynn and accusing her of stealing readers, she should have stayed friendly with her. Then Lynn would still be posting her blog links and she would be getting hits that she gets paid for. I think her ego is just too big and she would rather lose out on the hits than accept them from someone she feels is beneath her. If the majority of her hits came from Lynn’s HOBBY blog, that would destroy the “I’m up here, you’re down here” fantasy she lives in.
Her attitude is just awful. Look how much she bragged about being a writer for Yahoo. She talks about inspiring others but that’s all bullshit. She bragged about herself while putting others down. Never once did she say “hey you should totally join AC like me”. Nope. She said “I’m better because I write for AC and you are just a hobby blogger”.
How come all the RH bloggers seem to get along, except her? No one has drama with anyone but her. But WE’RE the problem? She really thinks there is some conspiracy against her. And she actually gets away with telling that lie because she constantly deletes the blogs and tweets where she starts all this shit.
It’s kinda sad really. I know when she’s trolling this blog and Lynn’s because of what a good writer she is- it always gives her away. Ironic in a way.
bottom bottom line for me, while kidding about disorder, i truly believe something very seriously wrong, the behavior is just too odd and sick. So I couldn’t sleep last night. I tossed and I turned, worrying about Jenn Sale. OK, to be honest, worrying about her kids. I think I am going to call social services in her county on Monday morning. Hope they are open even if it is a federal holiday.
Meanwhile, at 5 a.m. I had this image of Ms. Superwoman dragging her three kids out of bed on a cold Saturday morning, dressing and feeding them, and hauling them over to the Food Pantry at 7 a.m. to….do what? Watch mom load or unload food trucks? If true, how awful for these kids. She has $159 in her bank account and 8 bucks in cash – they should be getting food from the Pantry. And if not true – WAY better bet – it’s just more BS from Jenn and Shazzy, one of her many other personalities. One also wonders why if Shazzy has her back, that she didn’t give Jenn a place to stay or money to help her get a place to stay. But at least we know who will be watching the kids on Tuesday when Jenn goes to court…

The department denied JS a place in a battered women’s shelter because they already knew who she was and that she continuously goes back to her “abusive” husband.
Think about it- if you had 3 kids, and your husband was abusing you, and all you had was $8 in your pocket don’t you think that she could go to Catholic Charities? or to a state agency? Well she could…if they already didn’t know wall about her.
May I interject something here?
I have family members that deal with Domestic Violence as full time jobs. It is never pretty.
While I can’t speak for all DV shelters or their specific procedures, being turned away “because she continually goes back to her “abusive” husband” raises a red flag.
It is a very common occurrence that abused wives will return to the abusive situation. Sometimes being able to leave is a sad slow process of returning, repeat abuse, leaving, etc.
That said, shelters do not normally refuse re-admittance when this occurs. They understand the process and frequently the safety of the children (if any) becomes paramount.
HOWEVER, they DO refuse admittance when they believe/know that the charges of abuse are false (proven) and that the agency is merely being used as a pawn by a person attempting to control or punish a spouse/significant other.
FWIW, just some general background info…
yeah- I know- my mother started a shelter in NY.
All’s I’m saying is this was what someone emailed me. They called DSS on jen’s behalf. The emailer was told they were aware of her and they wouldn’t accept her because she goes back to her husband.
I thought it was strange because I didn’t think that they could turn anyone away if they get money from the government or other charities for any reason.
But I guess the point is- posters DID call DSS and DID try to help her until Intensity found her mug shot.
I have no doubt that that is exactly what happened with the phone call. It was just my attempt to add some additional information as food for thought as to a more substantial reason why she would be denied.
You are absolutely right about the restrictions of turning people away because most of these shelters operate with varying types of grants.
I’m not questioning anything at all that was detailed in the post, not at all. But, I am questioning EVERYTHING surrounding the “situations” that have been claimed by .JS.

These are blogs and twitter-you can easily walk away from any of this at any time and go take care of all the stuff in your real life. If I was being abused and trying to leave my abuser and take my three young kids with me, I’d be focusing on that and spending time with people in real life who could make me feel better, not writing and deleting blogs and twittering with people I don’t know! Just another reason I think she is full of shit-anyone leading a life she claims to lead right now would be getting their life together or looking for the comfort of real people, not going on the internet and trying to lie/defend herself against strangers. However, I don’t think that she can accept the veil being pulled off and being revealed for who she really is, and she is grasping at anything she can to make a comeback.

completely understand, I made friends on twitter from fellow commentors on Lynns blog and initially the seemed like nice -decent-hard working mums, but after some disagreement or other they turned on Lynn and their fellow commentors and the nucking futs started to show through, they accused alot of people (innocent people) of starting drama, talking smack about them but all there was were accusations that started with them nothing actually said by the people they accused. It did make me very sad to realize it was down to them and after I unfollwed the drama went away .
